Summer founded Anchor Wealth Management in order to create an independent firm offering a boutique experience for her clients. She began her career in the financial services industry in 2004 after relocating to Florida. Prior to that, Summer lived in New York City and worked in management for the brands of two Fortune 500 companies, with a focus on communications and operations. Summer holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian Area Studies from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and has completed graduate work from Moscow State University in Moscow, Russia. Summer's professional credentials include the FINRA series 7 and 63 registrations held with IFP, and the series 66 registration held with Independent Financial Partners.  She also passed the FINRA series 6 and 31 exams (not currently registered) and she is a licensed Life, Health, and Variable Annuity agent.

Born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma, Summer now lives in historic Sanford, Florida with her daughters Scout and Harlan-Wade, and their loyal protector, Voodoo Cujo. She values her time with her family, loves a great adventure, and is a competitive triathlete and a 2018 Team USA athlete.

  • IF SUMMER COULD MEET ANYONE, IT WOULD BE: Dr. Wade Baskin, my paternal grandfather.  He was a recognized author and linguist, an advocate of Esperanto, a WWII medic, and an authority on teaching English as a second language to the Choctaw tribe.
